Public Service Announcement

If you haven't seen the movie Juno yet, do yourself a favor and go see it. Jack and I went tonight - it was either go to a movie or languish over the Iowa Caucus...

WE LOVED THIS MOVIE! (Can't say the same about the Iowa Caucus) The main character, Juno, is so adorable...

I think the movie was supposed to be more funny than sad, but for some reason I couldn't stop crying. Jack kept whispering in my ear, "are you going to be okay?" I still can't figure out - was this teary emotion I was having a happy sad or sad sad? I still don't know. This movie just shook me to my core for some reason.

I'll ponder on that for a bit, and in the meantime I'm going to go pop another estrogen pill.

Too funny...estrogen pill...You're cracking me up...and it's late...so I'm a bit slap happy as it is!!..You might want to accompany that e.pill with some type of "wine" or "feel better" pill, too...I hate it when I see a movie like that...and then can't figure out why I'm crying...am I sad?.... am I happy but melancholy?...am I depressed?...am I menopausal?...well...shoot...I could probably answer a big fat "YES" to all of those...

I have heard it is a great movie...but I so don't want to cry...maybe I should wait for it to come out on DVD...I am a slobbering, blubbering mess when I cry...can't stand it!! It is not a pretty sight!!

Patience isn't one of my virtues either...and my surprise is going to take a lot of patience...and NO it isn't a grandbaby!! Shucks!

Stay tuned...

Glad to hear you liked it. I've heard from other people it's a great movie and I can't wait to see it. Of course, it's not showing here for some reason.

I've heard the same about P.S. I Love You. I'll go see both and then we can discuss amongst ourselves.

The movie that most disturbed me lately was Fast Food Nation. I'll have to blog about it.

Thanks for the tip.

I'm dying to go see it. Unfortunately, right now I am dying of the flu.

However, I'll be in the theaters if I recover.

Hi everyone. I still can't get Juno out of my mind. I realize this is a movie, and that Juno is not a real person, but if she was a real person, I think Jack and I would want to adopt Juno AND her baby...

Maybe this is why the movie struck me like it did... The adoption thought keeps re-surfacing...

I just saw this movie with my sister on Friday. I tend to be somewhat more emotional than she is so as I was crying, she turned to me and just patted my leg. Thanks for the recommendation!
