Oh Happy Day!

HAPPY EASTER!

Lavender Chick (left) and Big Sis. Easter 1968.

All that was missing was my Easter Bonnet! I am quite sure we both had white gloves for church, though.... It was a happy day. It was a happy time.

Oh...that picture is so-oooo cute! Makes me want to find my pictures, except I've already packed them for our move. I think most of them are taken in front of the same plant outside...EVERY year...the only difference is we got taller and wore different outfits!

YES, Easter was NOT complete around our house unless we had a new outfit (in which mom always made), gloves, hat and white patent leather shoes...awwww...sweet memories.

Blessings on this most HOLY of days.

Happy Easter DEB!

That pictures is so adorable! I remember Easter Sundays in a new fancy dress made by my mom, with a hat & white gloves & new shoes that hurt my feet!

What a darling "old" photo! It makes me want to dig some of my out. I remember how important it was to find just the right outfits...right down to the shoes and the gloves. Times have changed though!

Hugs!

Great pic! I don't think I have any pics of me when I was younger during Easter?
Hope you had a good one this year!
